Job Description

Mad Science is looking for STEM Workshop Instructors to conduct engaging and interactive classroom instruction on various scientific topics.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating a one-hour in-classroom science enrichment program using a pre-set curriculum.
• Each session is a high-energy, part entertainment, part education, hands-on class.
• Picking up/dropping off and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have experience teaching children in a classroom or camp environment.
• Be friendly, flexible, dynamic and passionate about supporting children’s learning.
• Must be available M-F between 8:30 a‑1:30 p.
• Must have reliable transportation that is not public or ride share.
• All employees will be fingerprinted for criminal background checks and TB tested (required).
• Some college.
• Have a fun & outgoing personality.

We train you in the curriculum and provide all materials. Mad Science classes follow the school calendar and are presented year-round. This is part-time and rewarding work if it fits with your schedule and lifestyle.

$40 per workshop, 2-3 workshops daily.
