Job Description

About Us

Dvorak, LLC leads the way across the Mid-Atlantic region building heavy and commercial electrical systems using the highest quality and standards that modern construction demands. We maintain long-term, positive customer relationships and provide opportunities for growth and development for our team members.

Payroll Specialist Summary

Are you highly organized, detail-driven, and ready to make an impact behind the scenes? This role is a critical part of keeping Dvorak running smoothly — ensuring accurate payroll, maintaining compliance with certified reporting, and supporting our field teams and office staff alike.

You’ll take the lead on processing weekly payroll for state and federal projects, managing apprentice records, submitting certified reports, and keeping subcontractor documentation in check. You’ll also own timekeeping accuracy and support HR with onboarding and compliance reporting.

This isn’t your average payroll role — you’ll be at the intersection of operations, compliance, and people, making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values precision, and isn’t afraid to take ownership. Experience with wage-rated contracts is a big plus. You should be comfortable in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Bonus points if you’ve worked with Foundation/Vista/Timberline - Sage accounting software.
