Position Title : US Trade Support Consultant
Duration : 6 months Contract to Hire
Location : On-Site 300 Madison Ave, New York, NY (5th Floor – Trade Floor)
Pay Rate : $30-$35/hour
Must Have Requirement:
Prior Primary Dealer experience
Hands-on experience with Federal Reserve TAAPS (auction bid entry is mandatory)
5–8+ years of Trade Support / Middle Office experience within Fixed Income
Strong knowledge of US Treasuries and Agencies
Experience working in a fast-paced trading floor environment
Nice to Have:
Experience with Bloomberg TOMS
Experience with Broadridge / ADP
FINRA registrations such as Series 7 and/or Series 99
Experience supporting new process rollouts or business launches
Job Description:
The US Trade Support Consultant will provide specialized operational support to the US Global Markets Fixed Income team with a focus on primary dealer Treasury and Agency auctions. The consultant will manage pre-auction preparation, order entry, post-auction reconciliation, and exception management while supporting trade capture, settlement, and reporting activities.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting US Treasury and Agency auction activities, including inventory checks and bid entry
• Preparing, submitting, and reconciling auction orders via the Federal Reserve TAAPS system
• Monitoring trade capture, allocations, and settlement across internal systems
• Resolving reconciliation breaks and trade exceptions
• Partnering with trading desks, operations, technology, and external market utilities
• Assisting with process documentation, standardization, and improvement initiatives
• Producing operational and management reporting
• Supporting client onboarding and maintenance as it relates to settlement and auction participation
