In this role you will be working as a principal engineer on our Fabric development team. This team maintains ownership over databases, data pipelines, distributed systems, and systems development within Xage’s products. Principal engineers are expected to have a significant independence and the ability to lend their expertise to help decide the future direction of our team’s areas of responsibility. Some examples could be selecting technologies and developing new pipelines or updating existing pipelines to solve problems related to traffic analysis, audit/event detection, improving scalability/performance, or security policy suggestions. Principal engineers are also expected to have developed skills around communication, leadership, empathy, and mentorship to help guide and develop other team members with less experience.
