Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry (Travel/Local)
Location: New York, NY 10025
Job Type: Contract
Contract: 14 weeks with strong possibility of extension
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 3x11.5-hour shifts (Every other weekend required)
Guaranteed hours per week: 34.50
Pay: Up to $1800/weekly (Local) | Up to $2000/weekly (Travel)
Job Summary
Pride Health is seeking experienced Telemetry Registered Nurses (RNs) for a contract opportunity in New York, NY. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced telemetry unit, utilizing clinical expertise and evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process
• Monitor cardiac patients using telemetry systems
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and standards
Requirements
• Active New York RN License
• BLS & ACLS Certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience (Telemetry/Med-Surg required)
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• Ventilator experience preferred
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• Prior travel experience required (for travel candidates)
Preferred Qualifications
• BSN preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Experience in high-acuity hospital settings
