Job Description

Registered Dietitian Position

About MEND

MEND is a nutrition counseling and physical therapy practice on the South Shore of Massachusetts offering weight-inclusive, identity-affirming care.

Our work involves supporting people navigating eating disorders, disordered eating, body image distress, and health concerns where weight loss is often treated as the default solution. Many of our clients come to us after feeling blamed, dismissed, or oversimplified in healthcare spaces.

At MEND, care is collaborative and grounded in lived experience. We strive to provide inclusive, identity-affirming support that respects gender diversity and neurodivergence. We work with clients to explore what actually supports their health and build care that aligns with their values.

Position Overview

This Registered Dietitian position involves providing outpatient medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling within a weight-inclusive, non-diet framework. Care at MEND draws from approaches such as Health at Every Size® (HAES®) and Intuitive Eating while supporting clients navigating eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, and a range of medical and nutrition-related conditions.

This role involves collaborating with therapists, physicians, and other members of a client’s care team to provide thoughtful, individualized support.

The position will begin part-time with the goal of growing into a full-time caseload. The dietitian should be comfortable building toward approximately 21 client sessions per week over time.

Sessions are currently offered via telehealth and in-person at our South Shore office.
