This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a practical, scalable quality program that ensures the company consistently builds and ships the highest quality products.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Program Development: Develop, implement, and maintain an internal quality management program (non-ISO) including standards, inspection criteria, audits, and corrective and preventative actions.

  • Shipping Accuracy: Develop and enforce quality checks to ensure products ship complete, correctly configured, and with all required components, documentation, and accessories. Audit for customer experience improvements.
  • Data & Reporting: Define, collect, and analyze key quality metrics and report monthly results.
  • Training & Quality Culture: Train production and assembly teams on quality expectations, standard work, and inspection methods; promote a culture of quality ownership, accountability, and open communication.
  • Supplier & Incoming Quality: Partner with purchasing and engineering to address incoming material quality impacting production or product performance.

Required Education and Experience:

  • BS degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality role, preferably in a hands-on, non-ISO environment.
  • Experience building or significantly improving a quality program or system.
  • Working knowledge of quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data reporting tools.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
