Junior Preconstruction Manager

Step into preconstruction without needing years of experience.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established NYC general contractor where preconstruction is taken seriously, and where you’ll be trained properly from day one. You won’t be expected to know everything. You’ll be supported to learn it, with a clear development plan and excellent onboarding.

You’ll work alongside experienced estimators and precon leaders, getting exposure to how projects are shaped.

This is a role for someone early in their career who wants to build real capability in preconstruction with an established and busy construction company.

You’ll be involved in:

• Supporting cost estimates and budgets at early project stages
• Reviewing drawings and helping with quantity take-offs
• Coordinating subcontractor pricing and bid information
• Assisting with value engineering and project comparisons
• Getting out to site and understanding how projects come together

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in construction management with a GC/CM
• Some exposure to preconstruction, estimating, and/ or strong interest in moving into it
• Understanding of drawings and willingness to learn quickly
• Strong attention to detail
