Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:15 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (ET)

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Functions as a key analyst and advisor to LifeSciences, Research & Development, and National Donor Services teams, in addition to supporting occasional corporate development projects on an ad hoc basis. Responsible forbuilding financial models and providing decision support to the leadership team while designing business processes for measuring results and isolating the impact of various initiatives. Works closely with all relevant stakeholders to support the annual operating plan and quarterly forecast exercises.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Business Partnering: Provides decision support for the LifeSciences team, as well as National DonorServices and product development workstreams. This includes in-depth analysis regarding pricingproposals, new product costing, inventory management, go-to-market strategy, and capital events.
  • Financial Systems & Reporting: Leverages business intelligence tools to automate reports andprocesses, plus develop visual dashboards and presentations to communicate analysis results tosenior leadership within the Research & Development, National Donor Services, and LifeSciencesbusiness units with minimal routine human intervention.
  • Financial Planning: Supports key finance deliverables for the organization including the annualbudget and quarterly forecast process. Works closely with business partners to understand andarticulate performance drivers to the financial leadership team.
  • Month End Analysis: Designs and maintains routine month end financial close functions, includingmaster data validation, ensuring reporting data tables are accurately maintained, and checkingautomated report outputs.
  • Financial Modeling: Performs ad hoc financial analysis to support corporate development functions.Drive simplification and automation of existing finance and business processes.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Two (2) years of financial planning and analysis or data analysis


Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • System Skills: Experience with SAP ERP or PowerBI/ Tableau reporting tools
     

Key Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Work, Outlook, Microsoft Suite, and Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, implement, and monitor tasks and assignments effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and build relationships with all professionals at different levels within the organization.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/ workload. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple time sensitive projects, multi-task, identify project interdependencies and potential risks/ pitfalls while maintaining a sense of focus and urgency.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure high degree of accuracy/ completeness and early/ on-time delivery.

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $65,972 to $87,962or annually


Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience.  The pay range for this position is 65,972 annually (entry level qualifications) to $87,962 annually
(experienced in this role). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.
