Job Description

Role: Hybrid Cloud/Infrastructure Engineer - Compute and Infrastructure

Contract duration: 12mo (with very possible extension)

Location: Tampa, Florida (must be local or willing to relocate as soon as needed)

Main Deliverables

• Design, build, and implement modern compute and infrastructure platforms across on‑prem and cloud environments
• Deliver scalable, resilient, and secure virtualization and container platforms
• Lead cloud and hybrid infrastructure build-outs from architecture through production

Technical Stack

• Cisco UCS / UCSX
• VMware (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi)
• Nutanix (AOS, AHV)
• Red Hat OpenShift
• Public & Hybrid Cloud platforms (cloud infrastructure build and implementation)

Requirements

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing Cisco UCSX-based compute platforms
• Strong expertise with VMware virtualization technologies
• Proven experience deploying and operating Nutanix infrastructure
• Experience building and managing OpenShift container platforms
• Experience delivering cloud or hybrid cloud infrastructure implementations
• Strong understanding of compute, storage, networking, and virtualization integration

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and optimize compute and infrastructure solutions for enterprise environments
• Implement VMware, Nutanix, and UCSX platforms based on customer requirements
• Design and deploy OpenShift clusters integrated with underlying infrastructure
• Lead cloud infrastructure build and implementation activities
• Provide technical consultancy and guidance across infrastructure modernization initiatives
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance, availability, and scalability of deployed platforms
