Position

The Chief of Staff is a strategic partner and key advisor to the President of Rockefeller Global Family Office (RGFO) responsible for driving clarity, alignment, and disciplined execution across the RGFO organization. This role enhances leadership effectiveness, strengthens field connectivity, advances enterprise priorities, and ensures operational rigor across a broad set of initiatives. The Chief of Staff operates with a high degree of judgment, confidentiality, and influence, serving as an integrator across teams and a force multiplier for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage annual strategic planning, priority setting, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Translate strategy into clear objectives, timelines, and execution plans across regions and functions.
  • Prepare leadership briefings, agendas, executive updates, and materials for enterprise‑level meetings.
  • Establish and maintain RGFO operating rhythm, including leadership meetings, performance dashboards, and field communication cadence.
  • Oversee the development, tracking, and reporting of scorecards for the RGFO Leadership Team.
  • Act as the central partner bridging all business functions, including HR, Marketing, Finance, Real Estate, Operations, and Technology, to ensure seamless cross‑functional alignment and execution.
  • Drive accountability across initiatives by monitoring progress, identifying risks, and ensuring timely follow‑through.
  • Oversee special projects and high‑priority workstreams on behalf of the President of RGFO.
  • Surface insights, issues, and opportunities from the field to inform decision‑making and enhance advisor experience.
  • Support the development and rollout of field communications, best practices, and standardized materials.
  • Drive collaboration across workstreams tied to recruiting, advisor experience, growth initiatives, and client engagement.
  • Serve as the connective tissue for enterprise initiatives requiring alignment across multiple stakeholders.
  • Draft and refine concise, on‑brand communications on behalf of the President of RGFO.
  • Support development of presentations, narratives, and talking points for meetings, events, and roadshows.
  • Support organizational design, leadership development, and talent management activities within RGFO.
  • Reinforce a culture of accountability, partnership, and excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 8 to 12+ years of experience in wealth management, strategy, chief of staff roles, or business operations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Strong understanding of financial services, wealth management, or advisory businesses preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives across functions and move work forward in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills and the ability to create structure from ambiguity.
  • Proven experience working with senior executives and handling confidential, sensitive information.
  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, and organizational diplomacy.

Compensation Range

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $225,000 to $275,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
